Groups and patient representatives

We are committed to working transparently and to ensure that patients and the public are involved at all levels of our work. To do this we openly recruit at least 3 patient and public representatives to sit on all of our clinical work stream groups. Representatives from our Patient and Public Engagement Steering Group are invited to sit on our key decision-making forums such as our programme board. We provide training and support to all of our representatives, providing them with a buddy in each meeting and calling them afterwards to see what further support they might need in order to participate fully in meetings. All our patient and public representatives are invited to a quarterly network meeting to provide peer support to each other and receive updates from the programme as a whole.
