Clinical vision for south west London
On 30 April 2019 we hosted the South West London Clinical Conference which brought together almost 250 NHS clinicians, social care professionals, voluntary sector colleagues and other partners from across our six boroughs to help design the clinical vision for south west London.
At the event, attendees were encouraged to join individual breakout sessions and share their experiences and expertise on six areas identified by the South West London Clinical Senate where we can make the greatest difference by working together across health and social care:
- Cardiovascular disease
- End of life care
- Mental health
- Outpatient transformation
- Respiratory care
During the day, colleagues from our six local Healthwatches shared the experiences of local people who are living with these conditions, highlighting their personal stories, their experience of services, and suggestions for improvements, to allow us to understand even more about what matters most to them as someone affected by these conditions.
The outcomes from the event will go back to the South West London Clinical Senate to prioritise the actions and help us to develop a clinical strategy for the next five to ten years.
Updates on this strategy will be shared with health and care staff, local people, community organisations and our partners across south west London.
