“I’ve worked in the NHS for 7 ½ years. Coming from the private sector, I was offered a two week PA cover role at Wandsworth PCT and never left! I’ve remained working in

administrator and support roles in various domains – PPI, Governance, Primary Care and a stint as a GP practice coordinator. I now support Wandsworth and Merton CCG safeguarding team and until recently have been a governance administrator and currently manage the Wandsworth CCG office in Putney.
“My safeguarding team have a demanding and complex remit and my purpose is to ensure they have delightful and efficient support and tip top administration to keep the wheels turning.

“I do feel really proud to work for the NHS. Since my time working in Wandsworth I’ve worked with such great teams and individuals and there is a powerful vibe and commitment to keep the standards high for patients and the community, as well a strong camaraderie amongst staff.

“Recent lovely moments for me have been helping support learning events organised for health practitioners, where young people in care and young students from the LGBTQ+ community have contributed. It makes such a difference to hear the ‘voice of the child’ and such a privilege to meet these inspiring individuals. I feel very honoured to work in a role that plays some part towards supporting them.”
